How time flies!!

Hi hi.... i m finally blogging again after missing for so long. Can you believe that I'm coming back next THURSDAY! LOL... words cant really describe my current feelings... Cant wait to see darrel, umah, upah, kache, mei and my seafood family!!! Tried to pack my stuffs few days ago, but there were too many things to be packed, and finally i gave up and went n sleep! Ha ha.. Will probably pack after Structures Exam which is Wednesday night..

The only thing that bothers me right now is getting a JOB here! Its so freaking hard to get one here!! LOL... damn stress la but hopefully the final interview on Tuesday morning goes smoothly and I get hired!! Please la.... I really wish i could stay here to gain working experience and have luch with joshua, ruthie and siao za boh.... Letss pray hard okay! It would be so much easier for me to pack if i get a job here seriously. I can just leave all my stuffs here n go back leisurely!! But now i m caught in middle, not sure what to leave and what to take back!!! But luckily tako chow offered me her new place to store my rubbish during the summer break! How sweet of her! :) Lets hope for the best k.... I shall stop here and continue with SS revision!

Guess wut ppl i saw Lee Min ho in real person on Sunday!!!! Ah che n the rest of our seafood family (especially tako) must be soo freaking jealous of me. Hehe :p Me n nat nat went for his autograph session in sungai wang. We waited for 3 freaking hours for him to arrive n he was late for more than an hour. sob sob... I was silently suffering due to my heels, blame my height! The crowd was definately crazy and YOUNG, we felt kindda awkward and OLD being part of it. If it wasn't for min ho i wont be freaking there. We even bought etude house's product just to get minho's poster for him to sign but unfortunately he only stayed for less than half n hour so boooo no autograph nor close up view of him. So sad!!!!! Despite of all the torturing it was still worth it. hehe... call me crazy.

My Working Life

Alu........ everybody. Mei is BACK! Sorry for abandoning the blog for such a long time. hehe... Currently, I'm tyring very hard to adapt to a whole new chapter in my new life which is WORKING! Basically, it includes waking up at 7:30am and going to bed before 12. Honestly speaking, hate it to the max but yet the minikuchit salary is my only motivation. And to all my chingus who have been supporting me, not forgetting darrel's penjaga, kakak, SARANGHEAYO!!! Btw, this is what che gave me. My MINI GLAM! Aigu..... i really miss her, I bet she misses me n darrel too!

Back to working life, I m currently a junior designer at Ms.Read. Don't freakin ASK ME Y am i stucked here! And I m freaking under probation so that means no ALs and no staff price(Ms.Read, Duke and the duchess, Delicious, Delish and Reunion). Booo:(

Ms.Read is so NOT JESSLYN LEONG but despite that, the pay is quite good, the office is just 15 minutes away from home, strictyly 5 days a week, no OTs and a friendly working enviroment. I can say i m quite contented with my job. hahaha...

Che here, life is seriously hectic and stressful now. Final presentation is freaking next friday. OMG.... Gan jiong dou bao zha... And everything has to be hand drawn, can u believe!!! The worst part is my pre presentation look which is super salah! Dark eye circles, pimples, dry crack lips, uneven skin tone, frizzy hair!! OMFG..... Life as an archi students really aged one FAST! Looking on the bright side, this is my last semester of my final year!! Bye bye crazy sleepless nights, hello leisure stress-free days if i ever get a job here in melbourne. Hopefully everything goes well and i shall fly back home on the 26th of november. I am so blur right now, cant really think of anything to write. My mind is currently fully occupied with structural notes and design iterations. Maybe i should rest for awhile, yes i think i should rest! Thats all for this lame post. Sorry peeps, no pics nor funny thing to enlighten ur day, currently in the mid of design war. Will be back very the soon! :)

Fast Update

Che here, sorry for the lack of update. Have been really busy for the whole week due to AD3 which is totaly nightmare! And guess what, next week will be my mid term crit and OMFG Ann marie is one of the guest critics! Its just another tiring and stressful week that i need to go through before sem break. Home sick is kicking in. I miss my darrel boy so much, how i wish i can cuddle him right now n sleep like theres no tomorrow :) How i wish i can talk to mum face to face about my future.. Sigh...... Life is so miserable.

Looking at the brighter side, Ai ming chow and i have plans for the coming sem break! With high enthusiasm, we did actually made a Holiday-To-Do-List and pasted it on the wall, very funny i know XD

Btw, if u cant differentiate us that means u are not close to us, so SAD! LOL

last thursday i went to kuala kubu bharu(really wtf ulu kampung place) for a fashion shooting.

I was the stylist for the day and had fun despite the shitty weather ( rain stop rain).

Fish & Chips

Very spontaneously, me, Li yin and Ai ming went to St Kilda on Sunday morning just for fish & chips! The weather was fairly good, sunny yet windy despite it was raining cats and dogs in the morning. The first thing that captured our attentions was definately the facade of Luna Park, the famous laughing face! We went into the amusement park, took alot of pictures, and went out without trying any rides coz its crazy to pay 8$ for just ONE mediocre ride! Better keep the money for fredos ice cream.

After that, we proceeded our fish & chips hunt. Finally, we settled down in a restaurant called Clamms Fast Fish. The word FAST seems appealing to us coz basically we were starving. Me and li yin shared a seafood basket which consists of fish, chips, calamari, potatoe cake, prawns and scallops! Not too bad for 13.90$. The portion was seriously huge but the taste was just average.

Cotton On is a MUST ENTER shop for us in melb. Its freaking cheap and 24/7 on sales. I wanted to buy a $20 light trench coat (very cheap okay) but the sizes were too big for me T___T .

Ai ming wanted to munch something sweet, hence we accompanied her to some pastry shop which sells OMG sooo many types of sweet delicacies! I ordered a rasin custard croissant while ai ming indulged in her yummy french vanilla slice. We stayed till five in the evening before heading back home.

Ate sooo much in the noon.... and guess what continue eating dinner with hwa lik and wei shyan in nasi lemak house and fredos ice cream! Both the boys highly recommended the chaw kuey theow but honestly it tasted so so only...cheh... But fredo's strawberry & green tea ice cream totaly made my day >_<

Che here. I know its 5 am, but y am i still awake? Currently trying very hard to analyse and sketch how penguins and lionfish move in water and land. Am meeting up with li yin and ruth in the city in the next 6 hours to buy art equipements and some groceries. Need to get some apples and fresh meat! Am watching HK movie overhead with hwa lik and his bp frens tonight. Hopefully Daniel wu and Louis koo wont dissapoint me! LOL... Nitez.. I shall sleep now :)

1. Seth is coming over on the 27th of August for a week!

Janice birthday partey at VII

Damn.... My eyes are so bengkak now. Aftermath of crying T___T watching the joy luck club!Seriously, the movie was soooo touching till i weeped lik a baby behind my pillow worrying that Ai Ming would notice. LOL... Definately can't sleep now or else my eyes can't be open tommorow. Hence, i shall blog about Janice's birthday party at club VII. The party or should i say VII was awsome yesterday night! Met a few uni friends and lotsa eye candy!! Ai ming and jesslina totally went crazy over the daniel henneyish guy!

We met up with hwa lik and wei shyan at the nearby tram stop and headed towards VII around 10pm. Li yin brought 2 of her friends, Yvonne and Carl along! The queue was freakin long yesterday coz it was also VII's second anniversary. Fortunately, with the help of Ah kee, we got in without waitting too long :) Janice invited 60+ people to her partey, most are her uni and hometown friends. We barely know any of them but it was still fun coz we kindda entertained ourselves by dancing, drinking, chatting and most importantly camwhoring!! The music was pretty satisfying, totally went crazy over gaga's songs. So, here comes the pretty pics of the night:

Melbourne Aquarium

Che here, woke up very early this morning to meet Ash and Rachel at melb uni tram stop. We took the tram and headed down to Melbourne Aquarium Center near Flinders St Station. Reached there around 9.30am, most of our studio mates were there already. Normally the entrance ticket is $31.50 for adults, but we paid $15 only coz we came under uni! The main purpose of this visit is to analysize the movement of penguins and fishes in air and water. Sounds lame but turns out to be quite interesting. Were greeted by lotsa cute penguins in the aquarium. They were quite big in size compared to the ones in Philip Island. They were basically walking here and there, resting and swimming in a big pool! There were two types of penguins which are the king penguin and the Gentoo penguin.

#1 Gentoo penguin which is smaller in size but definately adorable!

#2 Penguins are quite lazy as u can see.

#3 Penguins are very fast in the water, unlike on land, they are lil clumsy!

#4 Bunch of king penguins doing streching i guess.

#5 Due to the cold weather, penguins are constantly on the rest mode.

#6 Penguins do swim speedily in water to prevent attacking from predators such as shark. (No sharks were placed in their pool though)

Besides cute penguins, lotsa fishy were found in the aquarium. Ones that caught my attention were the lion fish, seadragon, jelly fish, stingrays and sharks! Although its a weekday today, the aquarium was quite packed with visitors aging from toddler to senior citizens. I think most of them came here just for the penguins and sharks. Me and ash even stayed for the shark feeding session at 11.30am, it was quite enjoying watching divers feeding sharks with raw fish. The guide told us that most of us has a wrong perception of shark being fierce and constantly preying on human thanks to movie such as THE JAWS. But in reality, sharks are way tamer and friendly!

Finally we made it!

The 3 of us have been wanting to set up a blog since ages ago but being the Leong sisters, we do procastinate alot and hence nothing were done till now! But finally, we made it, and here is our very first entry!

I m che, the middle one. Just got back to Melb for 5 days, and no doubts home sick strucks in! Currently, missing everyone and everything back in M'sia, especially my honey bun bun, darrel boy! People who knows me probably can imagine how much i miss that smelly fella. Am skyping with mei and mum on a daily basis, but yet i feel lonely and down :( Mei is currently searching for a fashion related job, hopefully, she gets one very soon and ease my mum's worries.

First week of uni is quite hethic but still bearable. Adding to that, i have started working part time in a nearby malaysian restaurant with li yin. Working ain't fun but it makes me appreciate the value of money and allows me to exercise by climbing up the stairs frequently. Seriously need to eat healthier, everyone especially mum was complaning about my weight back in msia. I think even my dad realised the extra fats on my body and thus invited me to jog with him in the morning! I think this is my so called fat phase and i shall eliminate it before 5th of December -kache's big glamorous day!

In conjuction of me and mei's 21st birthday which is next Thursday. Kache did a pre birthday celebration for us back in Msia before i came back to where I'm now. Knowing that both her younger siss like to sing, hence, the celebration was held in Red Box at The Curve. The party was also a farewell for me and was attended by close relatives. Aiguu... We ate, sing ,ate and sing for the whole freaking night. The room was constantly filled with joy and laughter!

Lilian mummy gave us each a charm from Thomas Sabo! It was so pretty and shiny. Daddy and kache gave us ang paos $$ while mum gave us each our very first LV bag! We love you all from the bottom of our hearts. Some of my close friends were so thoughtful that they gave me presents before i leave for melb! Most of the presents were charms and bracelet from Thomas Sabo. The contributors were the members of the seafood family, corrine and cynthia, seth and hui lih! Once again, thank you very much!

This will be the very first time that me and mei can't actually celebrate our actual birthday together. Weeeeee.........Its sooooo sad just thinking bout that. How nice if mei is here with me, everthing will definately be better with her company. I bet mei feels the same too, being the si manja that is always depending on her ah che >_<>

Goodnight everyone, I shall sleep now, he he he.... I' m going to the Melb aquarium tomorrow morning for studio purpose. Penguins, here I come.....
